Assault on the American Worker

I thank Conine for his comments. Lack of compassion, disregard for the dignity of the individual at the workplace, lack of ethics and common decency are only a few of the many tools used by corporate management to cut away at the very fiber of society as we know it.

Ask any family that has fallen prey to divorce, domestic violence, drug abuse, alcoholism (to name a few), as a direct result of workers being burned on greed’s altar. Welfare rolls, divorce courts, and mental health facilities are full of human beings who, like discarded machinery having outlived its usefulness, have been burned out and trashed for the sake of profit and efficiency.
