Share

Construction has begun on the $4.7-million Riverside Business Center on an 11.4-acre site in Riverside at the Riverside Freeway and Pierce Street.

The 163,760-square-foot project will include 14 buildings designed by Ware & Malcomb Architects Inc. of Irvine. The center is being constructed by Hedley Builders Inc., and it is being developed by Lincoln Property Co. Both companies have offices in Newport Beach.

George Hedley, president of Hedley Builders, called the project another “example of the Inland Empire’s growth as a major business site, both for commercial and industrial tenants.”

When completed, the project will consist of two retail shopping center structures, six multitenant office/industrial buildings and six free-standing single-tenant industrial buildings.
