3 Hijackers Sentenced to Death in Pakistan

LAHORE, Pakistan —
A Pakistani court on Monday sentenced three Indian Sikh separatists to death and seven to life imprisonment for hijacking an aircraft to Pakistan.
Judge Fazal Karim acquitted four others and told the convicted 10 that they could appeal before the Lahore high court within 30 days. The Sikhs hijacked two Indian airliners to this Pakistani border town in September, 1981, and July, 1984.
