Dog Punished in Oven

LONDON — A 19-year-old unemployed man was sentenced today to three months in a detention center for roasting his puppy alive in the oven because it made a mess on the carpet. The court also banned Denzil Richards, of Gillingham, Kent, from owning a pet for 10 years.
