Baker Communications Inc., the Beverly Hills publishing company that owns nearly a half-dozen Orange County publications, said Monday it has acquired the Palos Verdes Peninsula News.
The purchase price of the 48-year-old publication, which was previously owned by the New York Times Co., was not disclosed. Citicorp Venture Capital Ltd., a subsidiary of Citibank NA, New York, also participated in the purchase.
Baker Communications’ Orange County publications include the Newport Ensign, Costa Mesa News, Irvine Today, Orange County Entertainer, and Newport Beach (714). It also publishes Beverly Hills (213).
