Clash at S. African Mine Kills 1

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa —
One man died and 56 were injured in a clash between three tribes at a gold mine near Johannesburg, and hundreds of black miners at another mine were fired for staging an illegal strike, mine officials and union leaders said today.
