Lady Bird Johnson Faints at Funeral, Is Hospitalized

AUSTIN, Tex. —
Lady Bird Johnson, who fainted during a friend’s funeral, will stay hospitalized until Sunday because of fatigue and weakness, a spokeswoman for the former First Lady said Thursday. Johnson, 73, was described in good spirits at St. David’s Community Hospital following her collapse Wednesday.
