A Soviet woman who was airlifted from a fishing trawler to receive medical care at a San Diego hospital is back with her shipmates. In an arrangement worked out by the Soviet Embassy in Washington, Svetlana Alexandrovna Prokudina was ferried by private boat to the trawler Gnevnyy anchored six miles off the San Diego coast. Prokudina underwent surgery at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla after suffering a miscarriage on the fishing and research vessel. During her hospital stay, the woman received gifts from well-wishers that included teddy bears, record albums, promotional T-shirts and newspaper clippings recounting her ordeal.
