Kathryn Crosby, who last year withdrew the family name from the Bing Crosby National Pro-Am golf tournament in Pebble Beach in a dispute over sponsorship by AT&T;, has announced the format of the new Crosby tournament, which will be played this year in North Carolina.
The new tournament will consist of 100 two-person amateur teams, consisting of show business stars, former athletes and business executives, competing for $2 million in prize money, all of which will go to charity.
