Some Words About a Conrad Cartoon

Share

Regarding Grant’s letter on Conrad: Is it diatribe or an accolade? If a diatribe, he could have said it in two words: Conrad stinks! If an accolade, what does pasquinade, contumelious, senescence and lapsus memoriae mean?

Or is Grant merely “intoxicated by his own verbosity”?

Conrad, for me centrifies the quiddity of commonality, usually referred to as democracy, and enucleates the intrinsicalness of the two-party system, which is what democracy is all about.
