Chinese Students Find Study of Marxism Dull

The Communist Party called Monday for a radical reform of dogmatic and repetitive teaching methods because Chinese students increasingly find their required courses in Marxist theory tasteless and dull.
“The universal comment now is that students of higher learning feel indifferent toward Marxist theory. They have no interest,” People’s Daily, the party newspaper, said. “And a small number of students even show abhorrence and antagonism toward it.”
