Are Users Automatically Abusers Among Athletes?
I read with great pleasure Jim Murray’s column on drug abuse. More articles like this, along with the thousands of fans who would like to see drug-free sports, just may be the difference between Gene Upshaw and the players’ union.
My taste for football was destroyed by the reports from the New England camp. I feel voluntary drug testing is a step in the right direction, but doesn’t go far enough. Why not make the rule, one strike and you are out? I would rather see a drug-free losing team than a drugged team run up points.
