Afghan Rebels Report Soviet Prisoner Swap

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan —
Afghan guerrillas have swapped a Soviet prisoner for a rebel commander in a rare exchange in southern Afghanistan, guerrilla sources said Monday.
Rebel commander Mohammad Ishaq, known as Lala Malang, of the Pakistan-based Hezbi-i-Islami guerrilla party was exchanged for a Soviet soldier identified as Andrei Sergeivich Uslov, the sources said.
