Iran Thieves Lose Fingers

TEHRAN —
Four habitual thieves have had the four fingers of their right hands cut off in line with Iran’s Islamic legal codes, the newspaper Resalat reported Thursday. The four were convicted of many burglaries from shops, houses and cars in the southern city of Shiraz, the paper said.
