Dana Point : Senior Program to Start at Community House
A program to benefit older residents of Dana Point and Capistrano Beach through low-cost lunches and counseling will be launched today at the Dana Point Community House, 24692 San Juan Ave.
Full operations, which will include help with tax forms and Medicare accounts, will begin next week when the Community House will be open on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. under the guidance of the South County Senior Services.
In September, the Senior Services will join with the Capistrano Bay Park and Recreation District in offering services from the district’s multipurpose complex now under construction.
Today’s opening program at 11:30 a.m. will include an appearance by Orange County Supervisor Thomas F. Riley.
