Who’s this Carolyn Foster whose byline appears on a California magazine article, “Dialectics of Dining,” about a fictitious lunch at Le Dome? And how does she know so much about the movie game?
Could “Foster” really be producer Linda Obst, who developed “Flashdance”--and is now teamed with Debra Hill at Paramount?
Obst refused to confirm or deny the rumors. But it was Obst who penned an earlier piece spoofing the way movies are pitched in Hollywood--in a surprisingly similar footnote-heavy style.
