Checkpoints
In the March 7 issue I note that we are to have sobriety checkpoints on St. Patricks’s Day. I consider this discrimination at its worst. Do we have checkpoints on Yom Kippur, Pulaski Day, Bastille Day, or Cinco de Mayo? No, only on St. Paddy’s Day.
On behalf of myself and the other parishioners of Our Lady of Perpetual Hangover, I want to register the strongest complaint about this, the rankest possible discrimination of the Los Angeles Police Department. Brian Boru must be turning over in his grave.
