Research Gift From Italian Group

The Southland Italian Cultural Foundation Inc. has donated $1,000, the proceeds of its annual variety show, to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

The money is to assist the center’s research into Cooley’s anemia and was presented at an awards dinner held in Pinnas Pizza House in Downey.
