A federal judge in Macon, Ga., temporarily ordered the Ku Klux Klan to stop demonstrating and contacting students at two schools. U.S. District Judge Duross Fitzpatrick issued the temporary restraining order in response to a lawsuit filed on behalf of 18 parents who contend the activity has disrupted the education of 22 black children attending Madison County Middle School and adjacent Madison County High School in Danielsville. Robed klansmen were apparently angered by interracial dating among students.
