Muscovite Recounts Skateboard Menace

MOSCOW —
A Soviet newspaper reader complained Friday that teen-age skateboarders are a street hazard and said police should regulate the latest Western craze to enter the country.
“I don’t want to say anything against it. It develops coordination of movements and it builds up health,” T. Akhalaya wrote to the trade union newspaper Trud.
“But life is made impossible for pedestrians by fans of street-skating.
