Boat Sinks, 25 Drown

DHAKA, Bangladesh —
At least 25 people died when a motor launch sank in a river 40 miles east of here, police said Tuesday. Searchers recovered 25 bodies in the hull of the boat, which sank Monday in the Sitalakhya River because of overloading, police said. Witnesses said the launch carried at least 200 people, or more than double its capacity.
