Director Appointed for Family Welfare Agency

WASHINGTON —
Health and Human Services Secretary Otis R. Bowen on Friday named Wayne A. Stanton, the department’s regional director in Chicago, to head the new Family Support Administration.
The new agency includes most of the department’s family welfare programs, including the giant Aid to Families with Dependent Children.
