U.S. Action Against Libya
“Rambo” Reagan has done it again. After three provocative exercises of waving a “red cape” in front of the “wild bull” of Libya, he’s succeeded in getting the bull to charge.
And what is the result? Kadafi receives the equivalent of a mosquito bite and becomes a rallying figure for anti-American Middle East countries. The safety and welfare of Americans who live in Libya are put at risk. Additional pressure is put on Egypt to support the Arab cause espoused by Syria and Libya. And the banked fires of terrorism will probably now burst forth in full fury.
With what deeds will “Rambo” Reagan follow up his pledge of retaliation after the next expected terrorist bombing or plane hijacking? And what will he do about the terrorist center of Syria?
