San Diego
An assistant U.S. attorney in San Diego was appointed a Municipal Court judge Monday by Gov. George Deukmejian.
Robert May, 45, was chosen for the El Cajon Municipal Court, filling a new position. He has been an assistant U.S. attorney since 1983 and previously was a partner in an El Cajon law firm.
Municipal Court judges are paid $70,436 yearly.
