Heathrow Troops and Tanks Only a Drill

LONDON —
British troops in tanks and armored cars took positions around London’s Heathrow Airport today, but Scotland Yard said it was a normal security exercise and not due to any new terrorist threat.
Troops in full combat uniform and carrying automatic rifles moved into the airport at dawn and began patrolling the perimeter and central terminal areas.
