Ireland’s Eamonn Coghlan won the 10,000 meters at the 92nd Penn Relays in Philadelphia. Coghlan, 33, running the 10,000 for the first time since 1974 and the second time in his career, was timed in 28 minutes, 19.3 seconds.

Kathy Ormsby of North Carolina State, shattered the collegiate record with a clocking of 32:36.2 in the women’s 10,000 meters.
