European, U.S. Reaction to Raid on Libya
Last Sunday’s letters were stridently anti-French.
They usually begin pouring, in an almost Freudian manner of hysteria, whenever that country makes a show of its own independence and sovereignty.
I wonder if those who write them ever had night bombers fly overhead with what is euphemistically referred as “ordnance” aboard. I did. French President Francis Mitterrand did. It is our private recurring nightmare.
