Shell Expands Facilities With Bakersfield Lease

Shell California Productions Inc., a fully owned subsidiary of Shell Oil Co., will expand its facilities in Bakersfield, after signing a long-term lease valued in excess of $25 million for a new 100,000-square-foot, four-story building now under construction at 5060 California Ave.

The building is adjacent to the 12-story structure now occupied by Shell, known as the Stockdale Corporate Tower. Upon completion, the new building will be named Shell Plaza, according to the developer, Carver Development, Newport Beach.
