Parking Fine? Smile When You Say That

TEL AVIV —
A pistol-packing parking offender blasted away at a traffic officer’s van Sunday after a “Denver boot” was clamped on his car in downtown Tel Aviv, police said. No one was hurt.
The boot, a metal device fastened on a tire, immobilizes an illegally parked vehicle. It is removed after the auto owner pays a fine.
