In Connecticut, Amoco’s market share is 7.7%, she said. Spokesman Carl Meyerdirk said the company had a 0.5% share in the Texas market. Amoco’s share of the market in Louisiana, where it has more than 600 outlets, has dropped 20% in the last five years to 8.4%, Meyerdirk said.
