Business Professor 1st Faculty Member at Pepperdine to Win Fulbright Grant

Business professor Robert G. Wright is Pepperdine University’s first faculty member to receive a Fulbright Scholarship grant.

Wright, who teaches organization and management, has been at Pepperdine since 1976.

He will teach and study at the New University in Lisbon, Portugal, starting this fall. Before joining Pepperdine, Wright taught at California Poly Pomona, Arizona State University, Cornell University and the University of Southern California. He is the author of five books.

The Fulbright program, funded by the U.S. Information Agency and administered by the Council for International Exchange of Scholars, has provided grants for more than 20,000 Americans to do research or lecture abroad since 1947.
