Eddie Bird, the brother of Boston Celtic star Larry Bird, announced he will attend Indiana State University, the school his older brother led to the NCAA finals in 1979.

Eddie Bird, a 6-6 forward, averaged 21.6 points a game in his senior year at Springs Valley High School in French Lick, Ind. His team went 18-6 last season.
