Philippine President Corazon Aquino said she is suspending public tours of the ornate presidential palace beginning today and replacing the “negative” displays of deposed ruler Ferdinand E. Marcos’ extravagant life style. She said the mansion will be closed for two months, and will reopen with “more positive” displays, depicting the lives of other Philippine presidents to show the young other and better leaders.
