Intermark reported a loss of $2.2 million for the fourth quarter ended March 31 and a loss of $3.6 million for the full fiscal year. That compares with a fourth-quarter loss in the prior year of $356,000 and a loss of $2 million in the previous year.
Revenue for the quarter rose 9% to $129 million and increased 11% to $523 million for the year ended March 31.
The fourth-quarter loss was the result primarily of “seasonal operating losses” at Sunbelt Nursery Group, which is 50% owned by Intermark, according to President Charles (Red) Scott.
