Chad Therapeutics, a Chatsworth-based maker of oxygen conservation equipment, reported that it lost $181,328, or 12 cents a share, in the fourth quarter ended March 31. During the fiscal year, the company lost $949,493, or 66 cents a share.

The company’s quarterly and yearlong losses both were smaller than the deficits recorded a year earlier. Chad Therapeutics reported a loss of $255,011, or 18 cents a share, in the fourth quarter the previous year and a loss of $1.3 million, or 90 cents a share, for fiscal 1985. Earl L. Yager, vice president of finance, attributed the narrowed losses to the introduction of a successful new model.

Chad Therapeutics reported that its revenue rose 39%, to $56,658, in the fourth quarter and was up 27%, to $182,976, for the fiscal year.
