Cost of Living

The headline in your paper (May 22) “Living Costs Decline for 3rd Month,” made me feel as if someone was lying about me. I’m 80 years old and have not driven a car for 16 years because I can not afford it .

Even with careful shopping in three different stores my food costs have gone up 10% or more since the first of the year.
