19 Grand Jurors Chosen to Serve County Panel

Nineteen citizens have been selected to serve on the Orange County Grand Jury for 1986-87, according to Al Slater, executive officer of the Superior Court.
The foreman will be chosen June 27 by Superior Court Judge Francisco P. Briseno, Slater said. The grand jury will begin work July 1.
Those selected are:
Alan B. Carpenter, 67, a retired industrial engineer from Yorba Linda; Robert J. Kelley, 63, a retired city planner from Anaheim; Eleanor R. Saltzer, 40, a nursing research consultant from Villa Park; Alexander Volotta, 63, a retired professor from Laguna Niguel; Helyn R. Wagner, 61, a retired secretary.
Also, Ralph H. Bauer, 55, a retired chemist from Huntington Beach; Varnel D. Jordan, 58, a retired public school executive from Fullerton; Alton R. Morse, 66, of Garden Grove; Sharon I. Corey, 43, of Fountain Valley; Robert B. Palmer, 58, a retired police lieutenant from Santa Ana; Joan R. McSunas, 53, of Corona del Mar; James V. Robinson, 53, a retired businessman.
Others are Alfred A. Rachman, 64, of Buena Park, a retired electrical engineering technician; Robert R. Wiley, 42, of Orange; Barbara J. Baiz, 25, of Westminster; Ronald Blatt, 55, of Huntington Beach, a retired surgeon; Gerald L. Lillich, 60, a Fluor Corp. employee from Mission Viejo; Darlene A. Johnston-Derus, 50, a retired nurse from Seal Beach; Penniman M. Rust, 58, a high school teacher from Santa Ana.
