Culver City : Housing Panel Has Openings

The Landlord-Tenant Mediation Board has openings for tenant and landlord representatives and a tenant alternate representative, the Culver City Housing Programs Office has announced. The tenant representative and alternate must be tenants living in Culver City; the landlord representative must be a manager or owner of a residential income property in Culver City. Members receive training in the mediation process and $35 for each meeting they attend. Created by the council in 1980, the board resolves disputes between landlords and tenants involving rent increases and tenant rights. The City Council voted May 27 to fund the board for another year.
