You know, Anthony Yerkovich has a point in calling you on the carpet (Calendar Letters, June 8).

You erred in placing the correction to the who-created-”Miami Vice” snafu on Page 97, after the original mistake (implying Michael Mann as parent) ran on Page 1.

Future clarifications heralding him as sire of such high-quality programming should be run in 36-point type, upside-down in the already upside-down Book Review, surrounded by ads of a caliber more fitting than that of lounge acts: perhaps female mud wrestling or videotape sales of “Rambo.”
