GABORONE, Botswana — One person was killed and two wounded by unidentified gunmen in an attack on a suburban Gaborone house Saturday night, the Botswana Press Agency reported Sunday. The dead person and the two injured were all Botswana citizens.
The report said that South African forces were suspected of launching the attack. Pretoria has carried out two raids near Gaborone in the last year, killing 13.
South Africa said those raids were directed at activists of the African National Congress.
