Eighteen anti-nuclear demonstrators pleaded not guilty Friday to criminal trespass charges stemming from May 24 sit-ins outside the Seabrook nuclear power plant.

The protesters, among 74 who were arrested after refusing to stop blocking three gates of the nearly completed plant, entered pleas before Justice Edward McDermott in Hampton District Court. The cases were continued to Sept. 11.
