Three NASA Engineers Indicted on Theft Counts

HOUSTON —
Three NASA engineers were indicted Friday on charges of stealing thousands of dollars in government equipment and conspiring to hide the thefts from federal investigators.
The indictments, issued after an 18-month investigation, charge that the men took more than $5,000 in equipment paid for by the government and ordered from a NASA contractor at their request. Some of the equipment was used to repair cars or help the NASA workers’ children with school work, the indictment said.
