Transformers Shipped to Blacked-Out Town

ALLIANCE, Neb. —
Mobile power transformers were shipped 200 miles to restore electricity Sunday to this town of 10,000, which was blacked out for almost 24 hours when an internal failure in the town’s main transformer knocked out power Saturday, officials said.
