Eight Dealers Buy Sites in Ontario Auto Center

Eight dealers have purchased all the sites in the 48-acre first phase of the 98-acre Ontario Auto Center under construction on Jurupa Street, east of the Devore (15) Freeway in Ontario.

The project is being developed by the Ontario Redevelopment Agency and Ontario Industrial Partners, a partnership of the Lusk Co., Cadillac Fairview/California Inc. When completed, the center will have portions on both sides of Jurupa Street at the off-ramp of the Devore Freeway.

The dealers are Savage BMW Inc., Ontario; Crown Toyota, Upland; Romero Buick and AMC Jeep, Ontario; Ontario Nissan, Upland; Woolverton Volkswagen Inc., Ontario; Jack Prince Chrysler, Inglewood; Jack Prince Suzuki Samurai, Ontario, and Superior Pontiac & GMC Trucks, Monterey Park.

The auto center is part of the 1,350-acre California Commerce Center at Ontario, being developed by Ontario Industrial Partners.

Now in its second phase, the center adjoins Ontario International Airport and will ultimately contain office building, hotels, motels, restaurants, service businesses, financial institutions and entertainment centers.
