Reagan Policy in South Africa

Share

Although I do not approve of Bishop Desmond Tutu’s condemning whole nations to hell, I feel that the bishop may be excused for his strong language in evaluating President Reagan’s pussyfooting speech.

Many Western nations are consigning themselves to eternal trouble by failing to take dramatic and effective steps to end the abomination of apartheid in South Africa. The United States is the chief offender--after South Africa itself.

All of this, of course, plays directly into the hands of the communists.

There is a spiritual law that when individuals or nations force people to suffer, or who condone the suffering of others, eventually they too must suffer. This will happen to our country unless we become humanitarian in our philosophy and actions.
