Officials of the American Civil Liberties Union will investigate a drug-testing program announced by Ohio State for more than 1,000 athletes in 31 college sports.
Mark Levy, executive director of the Ohio chapter of the ACLU, said the program “undercuts the basic American value of presumption of innocence, which requires government officials to have some kind of probable cause . . . to subject someone to what is essentially a search operation.”
