The San Fernando Valley chambers of commerce have given the annual Fernando Award to Jane Boeckmann of Northridge, publisher of Valley and Let’s Talk magazines. The presentation was made at a banquet on July 18. Boeckmann, the first woman recipient of the award, was honored for her civic and community contributions.
