Rex McMackin drove in the game-winning run with a single to right field as Encino defeated Hoosier (Ind.), 2-1, Friday night in the Colt World Series in Lafayette, Ind.

Encino, which lost its first-round game to Puerto Rico on Wednesday, advanced to the third round of the eight-team double-elimination tournament for 15- and 16-year-olds. Encino will play either Puerto Rico or Hawaii tonight.

McMackin’s single in the third inning drove in Joel Woolf, who had doubled and gone to third on an error by the left fielder.
