Zentec Corp. said it completed the acquisition of most of the assets of the Anaheim-based data products division of Lear Siegler Inc. for an undisclosed amount.
Santa Clara-based Zentec designs and develops high performance computer terminals. Lear Siegler’s data products division makes computer terminals.
For its fiscal year ended June 30, the division reported sales of about $25 million. In 1985, Zentec had sales of $17.5 million and expects sales of $20 million, in addition to the revenues to be generated by the new data products operation.
Richard Knoblock will remain as general manager of the Anaheim unit.
