Construction has started on a $25-million renovation and expansion of Riverside Community Hospital. The work is being undertaken by Kitchell Contractors of Irvine, with completion expected by late 1988.
The expansion consists of a 104,000-square-foot, 304-car garage, to be followed by construction of a 60,000-square-foot professional office building.
In the design stage is a 100,000-square-foot in-patient addition that will accommodate a new central sterile area, intensive and critical care units and a surgery suite. The architect is the Falick/Klein Partnership Inc. of Houston.
